Emergency programs and research
Ramz Foundation for Development aims, either through its emergency projects or through its relief interventions to provide basic and immediate needs especially with the unprecedented economic deterioration in Yemen, to alleviate the suffering of the poor and the poorest families and families who have been displaced from their homes due to armed conflicts and war in Yemen. These projects are:
1. Food aid:
It was implemented in Amanat Al-Asimah, Hodeidah, Amran, Dhamar, and Hajjah. The total beneficiaries from it until the end of 2019 reached (11,324) families.
2. Distribution of Eid clothing :
It was implemented in Amanat Al-Asimah, Hajjah, Dhamar, Ibb and Hodeidah. The total number of beneficiaries reached (6482) males and females.
3. Dates distribution:
It was carried out in Amanat Al Asimah, Hajjah, Dhamar and Hodeidah. The total beneficiaries from it until the end of 2019 reached (1576) families.
4. Group breakfasts:
It was implemented in Amanat Al Asimah. The total number of beneficiaries until the end of 2019 reached (125) cases.
5. Sacrifices and meat distribution:
It was carried out in Ibb, Taiz, Hajjah, Amanat Al-Asimah, Hodeidah and Amran. The total beneficiaries from it until the end of 2019 reached (702) families.
6. Purchasing a solar energy system to operate an artesian well in Hodeidah (Tihama - Salif.)
7. Cash aid:
It was implemented in Amanat Al-Asimah. The total beneficiaries of it until the end of 2019 were (72) families.
8. Shelter project:
It was implemented in Amanat Al Asimah, Hajjah (Aslam directorate). The total number of beneficiaries from it until the end of 2019 was (28) families.
