Under the auspices of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, in coordination with the Health Office in Amanat Al-Asimah and under the supervision of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramz Development Foundation inaugurated the fourth free medical camp for eyes at Azal medical center in Amanat Al-Asimah, which will continue for six days.
During the inauguration, Dr. Ali Jahaf, Under-secretary Ministry of Health and Population in Amanat Al-Asimah, stated that the fourth Ramz camp will be implemented in two phases: the phase of medical examination , and the phase of performing 100 surgeries to remove cataracts and implanting medical lens and dispensing post-operative medicines, for the poor and needy.
Dr.Jahaf praised the contribution of Ramz Development Foundation, and encouraged the various parties to continue providing medical services and establishing free camps, especially in the difficult conditions that Yemen is going through. He stressed that there should be a keen interest in promoting partnership and provide facilities for humanitarian projects in the field of health with all parties.
The Director-General of Azal Directorate, Mr. Mohammed Al-Alisi, also called for the necessity of establishing several medical camps to alleviate the suffering of the poor.
The inauguration was attended by the Under-secretary of Ministry of Health, Dr.Ali Jahaf, the Director General of the Health Office in Amanat Al-Asimah, Dr.Mutahar Al-Marwani, the Director General of Azal Directorate, Mr. Mohammad Al-Aalisi, the Director of Azal Medical Center, Dr. Hani Al-Kebsi, the Deputy Executive Director of Ramz Development Foundation, Mrs. Hind Al-Ghushaimi and the medical team of Azal Medical Center.
